Frequently asked questions
What is an "assistant parental"?
It is the new French name for home childcare, used since 2026: the person you employ looks after your children in your home. You are their employer, and you declare them on Pajemploi.
Does Employeur Zen file the declaration for me?
No. You remain the employer and you file the declaration yourself, on Pajemploi or CESU. Employeur Zen gives you the amounts to enter, calculated from the contract and the past month.
I employ one person for the children and another for cleaning. Do I need two accounts?
No need. One account is enough: each contract keeps its own world and rules.
Is the CMG benefit taken into account?
Yes, in the cost simulator for a nanny at home. The estimate is indicative: the CAF sets the amount actually paid.
Are the amounts up to date?
Rates, ceilings and minimums are stored with their effective date. When a value changes, the new one applies from that date, without changing payslips already made.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Creating an account only takes a name, an email address and a password.
